Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Overview

SavingRadar does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifying information.

Data on your devices

Your tracked products are stored locally and synced across your Apple devices using iCloud (CloudKit), tied to your Apple ID. SavingRadar cannot read your Apple ID or iCloud credentials.

Anonymous Pro monitoring

If you subscribe to Pro, the app generates a random anonymous identifier (UUID) stored in your iCloud Keychain. This ID is not linked to your name or email. It is used only to register price monitoring and push alerts on our server.

Pro registration requires an active App Store subscription verified on your device. Requests are signed with an app-specific secret so the Pro API cannot be used without the genuine app.

For Pro users, our server stores:

This data is anonymized — it cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not sell or share it with third parties for advertising.

Free tier

Free users refresh prices on their device. Price alerts are local notifications only. No monitoring data is sent to our server beyond standard product lookups (search, price API).

Server product lookups

When you search or look up a product, your device sends the ASIN or search query to our Cloudflare Worker. Requests are rate-limited by IP. We do not attach your identity to these requests.

Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are verified entirely on your device by Apple StoreKit, and confirmed server-side directly with Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment details.

Third parties

Product data comes from Amazon-related APIs via our server. Affiliate buy links redirect through our server so your associate tag stays private. Amazon's privacy policy applies when you visit Amazon.

Data retention & deletion

You can stop Pro monitoring at any time from Settings, which removes your anonymous ID's records from our server. Locally tracked products can be deleted individually or by deleting the app, which also removes its iCloud data.

Children's privacy

SavingRadar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and the in-app copy of this policy.
